Indian pair Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand superior to the ladies’s doubles semifinals on the All-England Championships in Birmingham on Friday.
The duo outlasted Chinese language pair of Li Wen Mei and Liu Xuan Xuan in a three-game thriller, beating them 21-14, 18-21, 21-12 in a contest that lasted 64 minutes.
Treesa and Gayatri, within the earlier spherical, shocked former World No. 1 pair of Yuki Fukushima and Sayaka Hirota 21-14, 24-22 in a pulsating contest.
